Students Enjoy Lights on Stillwater 2021

OSU Energy Management and Sustainability happily participate in SGA's Lights on Stillwater 2021, held as an in-person event Wednesday, August 18 from 7-9 pm at Boone Pickens Stadium (BPS). Although thankful for last year's creative approach to Lights on Stillwater due to the increased COVID-19 concerns of 2020, it was evident that participants were glad to get together again for this once-a-year outdoor event, even as storm clouds gathered overhead all evening.

SGA prudently encouraged attendees and vendors to wear masks, but the decision was left to the individual with OSU and vendors offering hand sanitizers and sanitizing stations along the route on the north side of BPS.

Then entrance fee for Lights on Stillwater 2021 was the donation of either $1 or a canned food item to be donated. Money raised was donated to support OSU's Food Insecurity Fund, and canned goods were placed in the SGA Pete's Pantry to support the needs of the Stillwater campus community and campus community partner Our Daily Bread.
