Utilities Engineering
Utilities Engineering organization includes mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers, and the Campus Surveyor. The engineers support the work of Utilities Production and Distribution Systems by providing professional design, development, and consultation services for utilities capital improvement projects, and repair and maintenance projects. The engineers also collaborate with Energy Management and the Automation Systems Group on campus meter upgrades in existing facilities, and installation of new meters. Engineers create and maintain the campus wide utilities models and manage updates to the OSU Engineering Guidelines.
The Campus Surveyor collects and contributes raw data for the campus atlas maps, the GIS foundation map, and engineering designs.
