Volunteer

There are a number of different opportunities to help OSU's Recycling Department. You can:

  • Organize a field trip to the OSU Recycle Center for your classroom, lab, department, or student organization.
  • Develop and administer surveys on recycling attitudes and behavior among employees, students, Res Life residents and Greek Life residents.
  • Create a map of all campus recycling bins and each building's recycling holding area.
  • Talk to the campus community at recycle events and exhibits.
  • Examine the commodity stream while sorting materials at the OSU Recycle Center.
  • Introduce new bins to departments on campus and gather feedback from building occupants.
  • Conduct research on the integrated waste management topic of your choice and share your results with us!
